Freehand Mandala

Matthew lives in Connecticut and has been painting mandalas since May of 2023. His first mandalas were painted on rocks and signs throughout his garden. Before long, he had painted over 500 rocks. Rocks, found on beaches of the east coast from Connecticut to Maine, the shores of Lake Huron, as well as river beds in the Catskills and farms in upstate New York. Painting the mandala design became all encompassing and, before he knew it, he was painting not only on rocks but on tiles, glass, card stock as well as canvas. Today, Matthew sees and imagines mandalas on everything, everywhere.
